This episode wraps up our series on 3 friends that David had with Samuel. We learn the reasoning behind following David's life in reverse Chronology in this series, and dig deeper into one friend that served many Ally roles in his life. At some point we all need a friend to help us identify our calling, put us in a position to learn, protect us, mentor us, and just to pray for us. Samuel filled all these roles and more for David, that's why we say he's his "umbrella."
